Pathfinder provided full-service design for construction to create a 53-bed Addiction Treatment Center unit in a two-story, 21,400 sq. ft. facility built in 1979. The design project was preceded by a feasibility study completed by Pathfinder. Helio Health provides services for OASAS and the completed project also includes counseling offices, shower and toilet rooms, program spaces, full-service kitchen and a multi-purpose dining room. The space arrangement provides efficient floor plans for programs and effective supervision.

Mechanical design consisted of HVAC system design, including heating and cooling, mechanical ventilation, exhaust systems and fire suppression. Ventilation and exhaust systems  included energy recovery and new building management tools.

Plumbing design included new domestic hot water heating system, cold and hot water distribution, new sanitary lines and feature code-compliant plumbing fixtures.

Pathfinder provided fire protection design to fully sprinkler the building.

Electrical engineering design included electrical service modifications, electrical distribution, branch circuiting, general lighting, emergency lighting and a new fully addressable fire alarm system.

Pathfinder prepared a Feasibility Study prior to the design.
