Pathfinder provided high-resolution laser scanning with post-processing of the two-story mechanical room with penthouse.  The work was completed on behalf of the project architect and in advance of the design of building renovations. Approximately 6,300 sq. ft. was scanned including low-light areas. The renovation included replacement of most of the building’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems without any as-built documentation given none were available.

Some 55 scans were completed of the multiple M/E/P systems for demolition, scaled to 1/8 inch accuracy. 

The Revit model was developed from the scan point cloud and site photographs and provided the architect with locations of termination points of the systems.
