Senior Energy Engineer Bill Bishop, PE, LEED AP, CEM, BEAP, BEMP, will be offering two presentations at the Rochester Engineering Symposium on April 28. Some 500 engineers attend the day of learning hosted by the Rochester Engineering Society.

Transitioning to Net Zero Emissions in NY – Options for HVAC Systems and Central Plants
The Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act commits New York to reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions. HVAC engineers will facilitate this transition with current technologies and planned retrofits.

Human green house gas emissions are not being reduced in time to avoid dangerous climate change. Deliberate intervention in earth's systems is a potential last resort.
Bill provides building energy simulation, comprehensive energy audits, general energy analysis, and development and implementation of ECMs. He coordinates Pathfinder’s participation in NYSERDA programs. He is a regular presenter on topics related to energy and climate change at technical conferences in New York State. He is a member of ASHRAE and the Association of Energy Engineers and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
