Jennifer Abraham Earns Lighting Design Certification

News

Jennifer Abraham, LC, NCIDQ, LEED AP, an Electrical Engineer and Lighting Designer at Pathfinder Engineers, has earned the designation Lighting Certified Professional (LC) from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions.

“Lighting is something I’ve always been drawn to,” explains Ms. Abraham. “It’s a mix of aesthetic and engineering that influences how people work and live every day. I pursued this certification because having the credentials will draw attention – to our clients and others – that good lighting design is more than simply throwing fixtures onto a plan.”

The LC credential demonstrates that Ms. Abraham has necessary knowledge, understanding, and ability to apply lighting principles and techniques successfully. It acknowledges a broad knowledge base in this increasingly specialized design area through a four-hour examination offered in two sections.

“To all of us who know Jennifer, her receiving the LC certification reinforces her knowledge, approach, and understanding of lighting,” notes Corey Wilson, PE, Electrical Engineering Department Manager at Pathfinder. “Jennifer’s designs bring attention to detail and adds feeling to each and every space she is involved in.”
