Jaimee Wilson recently traveled to Fresno, CA, with the WMS sales team. Jaimee, along with fellow engineers and facilities managers from the Upstate New York region, visited the Grundfos Pump Factory and Yosemite National Park. During the trip she was able to enjoy some of her favorite things: hiking and learning how to save energy in commercial buildings.

Dave Meyer, a partner at Pathfinder, presented at two educational sessions during the ERAPPA 2013 conference. In his presentation about our M/E/P services for the renovation at SUNY Geneseo’s Monroe Hall, Dave discussed the GSHP system, rainwater collection and other high-performance design elements. Simple solutions can create great savings and student resident engagement. The water bottle fill station has filled nearly 30,000 bottles since the dormitory’s re-opening in January 2013. Pathfinder celebrated with the Arc of Monroe at the grand opening of it's day center on West Henrietta Road in Brighton. Pathfinder provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection for the new $4.3 million center which is comprised of three connected buildings.

Jason Drake joined Pathfinder three years ago as a mechanical engineer and worked extensively on commissioning projects as well as design projects. Engineering brings out the creative side in Jason.
“I love the challenges and problem solving involved with my job,” he explains. “I find it especially enjoyable when design issues require creative and innovation solutions. I also like to be as hands on as possible with my designs.”
